The United Way of Southeastern Idaho builds powerful partnerships that improve outcomes for children, families, & individuals in need.
Our mission calls us to work toward improving outcomes for struggling children, families, & individuals in need -- in other words "A.L.I.C.E." households in our region which make up around 44 % of our region's households.
We do this in four main four main ways:
Partner Engagement & Support -- We provide backbone support for diverse cross-sector partners across our region as well as to our funded nonprofit partners to help break down silos and move toward collective impact that produces long-term results.
Data, Community Education, & Policy Change -- Our "A.L.I.C.E." report and community assessment data along with our role of engaging community leaders and stakeholders on the needs of our region help move the needle toward action and results that improve outcomes for those in need.
Resource Development & Community Engagement -- When our community is mobilized and energized to "Give. Advocate. Volunteer." everybody wins. Increased engagement leads to a community that works together to improve outcomes for those in need.
Our work focuses on the three United Way pillars of Education, Financial Stability, & Health in our SE Idaho region.
