At United Way of Southeastern Idaho, We Like to Say Our Superpower is in Developing Powerful Partnerships
Today we highlight two of these partners and the great work they have helped us launch. One of the needs identified through imPACT East Idaho, our cradle to career initiative, has been to educate our community about the value of kindergarten readiness and post-secondary education. We know that a foundation of educational success builds healthy communities and lifts-up individual families, two things that are at the heart of United Way.
We found an incredible partner in Target River Marketing (TRM), who developed a campaign with these dual messages running March 2020 - May 2020. The robust messaging campaign included ads, videos, a new micro-website, print materials, and much more. Residents across Eastern Idaho received a wonderful introduction to the topics of kindergarten readiness and post-secondary educational opportunities. Not only did our community benefit from this important messaging campaign, but Target River took home a Print Distinction Award in the international Communicator Awards for their work! We look forward to leveraging the success of this first marketing campaign as we begin planning for our next run.
This messaging campaign would not have been possible with our partners at the Bayer Foundation, ON Semiconductor, the Union Pacific Foundation, and the Idaho National Lab (INL). Through these companies’ generous grant processes, we were able to fund this essential messaging campaign. We are lucky to have these amazing corporate partners who believe in the work we are doing, care about the success of ALL individuals in our community, and support us in this long-term systems change work.
Powerful partners indeed!
