ALICE is essential–and it’s essential we focus on ALICE

ALICE is essential

In Southeastern Idaho, the pandemic has disproportionately affected #ALICE households (low to moderate income households).

"According to a recent survey we put out on the impacts of COVID-19 on Southeast Idaho families, over 80% of ALICE families had immediate financial needs as a result of the pandemic. Additionally, ALICE was three times as likely to use a food pantry and applied for unemployment at twice the rate as Southeast Idahoans in general. It’s time to focus on building systems and community support that lift these essential families up."

That's why we are focusing our efforts on addressing what our community says we need most.
