1st Annual 5K Your Way + Sponsorship Opportunities

At United Way of Southeastern Idaho, we believe that the heart of our community is full of compassion and generosity. We invite you to make an impact in our community by championing the United Way of Southeastern Idaho cause of creating security for local families facing homelessness.

Proceeds of this event will go to our 2021 funded agency partners, supporting efforts for our community members to have access to the basics. 41% of households face a number of challenges such as having trouble paying rent, overcrowding, moving frequently, staying with relatives, or spending the bulk of household income on housing and living with the threat of forced evictions.

This 5k is YOUR WAY to join in the fun and help start a great community tradition!

How do I participate in a Virtual 5k Your Way?

• That is the fun part! You choose how you participate! Walk, Run, Snowshoe, Bike, or Cross-Country Ski! In our beautiful Southeastern Idaho, the possibilities are endless! You can even choose your indoor treadmill or bike! … whichever you choose make sure you are in a safe location avoiding crowds or areas that might put you at risk.
   
• You choose your date! There is no specific start time or day. Make plans to do your 5k anytime between 2/22/2021 and 02/28/2021
   
• Be sure to attend the drive-through swag box pick up! Friday, February 19^th! The first 100 participants will receive a UW Beanie, Medal of Participation, and a goodie bag filled with sponsored swag! Reach out if you would like your swag box mailed to you! The time and location are TBD! Check your email and our social media for details!
   
• Finally! Share how you accomplished the 1^st Annual Virtual 5k Your Way! Put on your medal and beanie and post a picture or video! Make sure to tag @uwsei! We would love to hear how you creatively accomplished supporting local families facing homelessness, YOUR WAY!
