This year United Way of Southeastern Idaho is planning to spur hundreds of volunteers into action to create meaningful impact throughout our region. This Day of action is annual event that mobilizes the caring power of volunteers to create positive change in communities around the world. When you volunteer you are joining 1.5 million United Way volunteers that are giving back so others can get ahead.
We are so excited for Southeastern Idaho to join this global day of volunteerism, where together we will take small steps to make a big difference.
Here is the best part, it is so easy! Gather your team, your company, family, or friends and pick a project to complete on June 21, 2023. For some you may be stuffing backpacks, cleaning up your favorite trail, restocking the shelves of a local pantry, reading to group at the library, or painting a neighbor’s home. There are so many possibilities!
For United Way, Day of Action mirrors the work that we do all year long, building stronger, more equitable, communities where everyone can thrive. We hope you will join us!

This is your opportunity to engage with local volunteers at your location and help meet the needs of your organization with a volunteer project that can be completed on June 21, 2023. We will do our very best to place volunteers at each requested location. Please have your project request submitted by 6/07/2023, as we begin sourcing volunteers. Please keep in mind that there is a possibility that the requested number of volunteers may not be available. We are hopeful that each project will be filled, however being mindful of the magnitude of your project will be helpful as we work to meet your needs.
