Margaret has served as head of United Way of Southeastern Idaho since 2004. Prior to joining United Way, she led resource development with Pocatello Neighborhood Housing Services, helping PNHS secure Community Development Financial Institution status. Margaret practiced law and later served as the Director of Pro Bono Services with Utah Legal Services as well as an adjunct professor at the University of Utah School of Law. Though she enjoyed helping clients achieve success through the practice of law, she came to United Way to be part of effecting long-lasting change leading to better lives for many people. Little known fact about Margaret—she still harbors a great love for tater tot hotdish from her upbringing in Minnesota.

Kim’s story includes volunteerism in civic, non-profit, and faith based capacities. She is currently facilitating a call to action to create a community wide campaign championing a quality early learning vision for all children, birth through age 8. Kim is inspired by “Live United” values that build relationships to impact communities for the common good. She holds a BA degree from the University of Colorado and serves as an AmeriCorps VISTA. As an avid reader captivated by rare plot twists, Kim wants to know what keeps you turning the pages of a good book?
